Gift Bags for Sharon Elementary Teachers

Northside Wadsworth Campus

The Worship Team Small Group is going to give the teachers and support staff at Sharon Elementary School a little care package to show appreciation for them and all they do. We are so glad we get to do LifeWise with them, and we want to show them some love. Join them on April 14th at 6:00pm at the Wadsworth Campus to assemble approximately 50 gift bags that will include $10 Starbucks gift cards, scripture cards, and snacks. 

Bring Donations to the church office by April 7th.

Cups Café is a Christian organization that provides space for teens to hang out and find someone who will listen to them and provides hot lunches to anyone in need.  The Ragone small group is going to provide the meal and serve it, as well as stock their pantry, and minister to the guests.  Kids welcome.

Come to either campus for a day of cleaning our campus inside and out and having fun together.  Let’s all pitch in to get our campuses ready for outside activities like Day Camp and to make a good first impression on our guests.  Sign up encouraged, but not required.

Care Packages for Children's Hospital

This group will be making care packages for Children’s Hospital. You can help assemble them on April 20th and/or donate play dough, Crayola art supplies (crayons, markers, colored pencils), drawing pads, construction paper, puzzles, and coloring books, card games for the care packages (for a complete list from Akron Children’s visit this link). Donations should be dropped in the church office by April 19th. Kids welcome.

Northside Wadsworth Campus

Project Lead: Ray Sanders

For the Agape group meeting on April 21st, the group will prepare a meal together for seventy people and deliver it to Cups Café in Medina the next day. Volunteers can come assist our Agape special needs group members, but we ask that volunteers just help them, not do it for them. We could also use a volunteer to drive the meal to Cups Café by 9am on Monday.

Nursing Home Ice Cream Social

This small group will host an ice cream social at the Inn at Apple Ridge Assisted Living to brighten the day of the seventy residents and pray with them.  This is a family-friendly project.
