Ken Everhard - Elder
Family info: Sarah and I met in college in the early 1980’s and were married in 1985. We have 2 children both of whom are in school. Katie is attending Malone University and Joshua is in his sophomore year of high school. What makes me laugh: Old cartoons ....especially Bugs Bunny. What I do to pay the bills: I am a mechanical engineer working in aerospace design. Ministry passions: My passion at NCC has always been teaching. I hope that my class gains new insights from our discussions, but have discovered that they are often the ones to teach me. It's about the heart: Northside is home to my family. We have been attending since 1992 and knew from the first time that we visited that NCC was the place for us. NCC is alive and freely speaks of our Savior Jesus Christ.
Bill Simmons - Elder
Family info: I have been married to Linda for over 33 years (obviously, we got married when we were 11) Three grown kids and spouses, all believers: Kelly and husband Dave, Craig and wife Stacy, and Jenna and husband Adam. What makes me laugh: Tim, Ellyssa, Grace, Shane and Blake (our grandkids) What I do to pay the bills: Design/Build Commercial, Industrial and Institutional Construction Ministry passions: Serving God to the best of my ability in everything He has asked me to do in order that I may help lead others to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. It's about the heart: Our first Sunday at Northside in 1984, there were less than 100 in attendance. To see how God has blessed this congregation and added to the family of believers in Jesus Christ is a truly humbling experience.
Mike Smith - Elder
Family info: Married to Margo; two married boys – Matt to Cindy; Scott to Megan; two boys in college – Dan and Jordan. What makes me laugh: Watching my four grandkids interact with each other. What I do to pay the bills: Industrial Parts Distribution/Inventory Management. Ministry passions: Welcoming new families to NCC on Sunday Mornings; Adult Choir, Finance Ministry. It’s about the heart: My family and I all came to know the Lord here at Northside.
Marty Berrey - Elder

Teresa and I met playing volleyball and were married 1991. We have two girls, Rachel who is thirteen and Lauren who is eight.
What makes me laugh: Many things including our Jack Russell Terrier, JACK! What I do to pay the bills: I currently work as a Business Analyst. Ministry passions: I have been involved with our hospitality ministry for a very long time. I have also helped in the children's ministry and the children's choir. It’s about the heart: We came to NCC in 1992 shortly after we were married so that we could be more involved, to be closer to a church.
David Fowler- Elder
Family info: Kathy and I were married in 1982. We have two children, Megan and Steven who, well are not really children anymore. Okay now I'm starting to feel old. What makes me laugh: Just about anything funny will make me laugh. I can even laugh at myself especially on the golf course. Yea, it's not always pretty. What I do to pay the bills: I am a manager at Westfield Insurence in the Finance area. Ministry passions: I have been involved in the Finance Ministry for as far back as I can remember. I also enjoy the Information Technology Ministry and have been a memeber of our school board since it's inception. I avoid the Worship Ministry, if you have heard me sing you will know why. It’s about the heart: We started attending Northside in 1991 after our daughter attended preschool here. Our entire family became Christians at Northside.
