Purpose Statement:
The W.ING.S. ministry of Northside Christian Church exists to glorify God by: 1) guiding women to develop and strengthen personal relationships with God and each other; 2) teaching women about their value and identity in Christ; 3) equipping women to serve in God’s Kingdom.

Fellowship Events

Bible Study Groups

Elevation on Wednesday Evenings from 6:30–7:30 p.m.

Daytime Studies: Tuesday Mornings starting at 9:30 a.m.

God's G.A.L.S. Adult Bible Fellowship Group meets during the 10:00 a.m. service. Our Adult Bible Fellowship Groups meet each and every Sunday morning to educate, encourage and equip the Believers of NCC. This particular group will be geared to ladies who may be single, single again or for ladies whose husbands choose not to attend NCC or an ABF.

Secret Sisters

This is a one-on-one Mentoring Ministry giving strength and encouragement to each woman’s life. You can make a difference through prayer, notes or cards on special days or inexpensive gifts. Secret Sister partners will be reassigned February 2008.

Conferences & Retreats

Ladies Retreat at RLCA…January 2009

Get away from your daily life for 2 days & enjoy friends, fellowship, food, not much sleep and be challenged and encouraged by speakers to grow in our relationship with Christ and each other.

Other Groups of Interest to Women:

M.O.P.S., Mothers of Preschoolers, is designed to encourage mothers with children under school age. We provide a caring and accepting atmosphere where a mother has the opportunity to share concerns, explore areas of creativity and gain knowledge. MOPS meets on the second Tuesday & the 4^th Thursday evening of the month.

Mom's Matter: It's true, they do! Mom's Matter is a support network of women who share & celebrate the bond of raising school age children in grades K-12. Mom's Matter will offer discussions on a variety of parenting, health and women's issues as well as giving moms the opportunity to build relationships all while having an enjoyable experience together. Child care will be available.

Divorce Care & Grief Share: These are 2 separate groups. Participants gain awareness, understanding, emotional, psychological and spiritual support to deal with grief that comes with a loss such as death of a loved one or divorce. Group size will be from 1 to 12 and will be held as needs arise.

Celebrate Recovery: This is a recovery ministry for alcohol, drugs, eating disorders, pornography, nicotine and more. The program also offers support for family and friends who have someone in their lives with such struggles. The purpose is to encourage fellowship and to celebrate God’s healing power in our lives as we work our way along the road to recovery.
