Welcome to the NCC 2006-2007 Ministry Guide!
This section of our website will help you take the exciting steps toward getting involved in the work of ministry here at Northside Christian Church.
It can be very comfortable to come Sunday after Sunday, participate in the morning, and not step out in faith to join us in serving our Lord. But that is not the life of a disciple of Christ. God has called each of us to live a life that is connected to each other through service. Jesus said that the world will know we are His disciples by our love for one another (John 13:35) and the Apostle John reminds us that Jesus' love is a love that is lived out by actions, not just words. As His disciples, we are expected to do no less (1 John 3:16-18).
Northside Christian Church is a community of Believers that strives to make connection to ministry easy. Our website will show that there are many opportunities for serving with others who desire to love God with actions as well as words just like you. As you look through this this list of possible opportunities to serve, pray that you will see God and His direction for your life. Ephesians 2:10 says, "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God has prepared in advance for us to do." We have been called by God to salvation through the love & sacrifice of Jesus Christ and we return His love by being living sacrifices (Rom. 12:1), expressing our love for Him by serving others. As we all become connected to one another through study, worship and service, we will accomplish God's good, pleasing and perfect will for His people.
