All of our Adult Bible Fellowship groups meet on Sunday mornings. Although each individual class has its own personality, emphasis, and goals, we strive to have the following major elements as a foundation for each Adult Bible Fellowship in this ministry:
1. THE ADULT BIBLE FELLOWSHIP IS A TEACHING PLACE.
Our ABF Groups seek to provide an environment that will evangelize, mature and equip others for effective Christian service through practical instruction and guidance by the Holy Spirit in the Word on God.
2. THE ADULT BIBLE FELLOWSHIP IS A BELONGING PLACE.
We all need to belong, and research shows that an Adult Bible Fellowship group is one of the best ways to create this vital sense of belonging. Therefore, we strive to make each Adult Bible Fellowship group a place where anyone who attends feels as though he or she will find mutual support and that others in the group are available and willing to meet each other’s needs.
3. THE ADULT BIBLE FELLOWSHIP IS A SERVING PLACE.
People are learning as well as experiencing a Christ-like way of life by finding many opportunities for service as the group seeks to meet the needs of others beyond the group members.
4. THE ADULT BIBLE FELLOWSHIP IS A REACHING PLACE.
Each group seeks to invite others who are not a part of the ABF ministry of NCC and either introduce them to Christ as Savior and/or equip them as members of the Body of Christ to reach & serve others with God’s love.
